| As most of you know my grandmother (mom side) had passed away last Monday. Today is the first day of her journey to a better place. The day started off early with everyone there getting into their traditional outfit for the ceremony. One day I'll ask and try to keep the tradition alive. This was the day they placed her into the casket/coffin. While this was being done we all were not allowed to look. I remain strong and fought off tears for most of the morning but as the day went on I could not help but think about the year I spent living with my aunt and grandmother as I was in college. During those times I actually sat down and had dinner with someone and just the thought of those moments made me teary  .

| glad to be back in the cool weather of the bay area. went down to socal this past weekend and was scorch by the heat. other than the heat it was a great weekend. went jet skiing for the first time down in san diego. after i over came my initial fear of the water it was a great rush speeding across n jumping over waves. at one point i was drench from going over one wave after another but it was all worth it. i had a blast. too bad i got no pictures

| what a long weekend. two nights in a row i slept around 4am and i'm tired. both nights were fun though. friday spent good times with ggn
members playing games til the early morning...but this time it was not mafia for once. saturday was spent in tahoe for richie ren and wong bun yuan concert. we got bleacher
seats but once the concert started there was a mad rush for all the
empty seats on the floor. we were able to move up much closer to the
point where you can actually see faces on the stage . it was a fun concert but a long drive home. need to catch up on some zzzzz |

| this feels like i'm back in school. up late because i am nervous and excited at the same time. will be my first day at work starting 9am and its pass 2am right now . man i should be in bed dreaming away . guess it'll take time for my body to react to this new schedule. hope i do not fall asleep on the first day of work
